Song of the Sirens
2026 · 12 × 18"
Description
Song of the Sirens emerges from a deep black ground scattered with starlight, where two luminous figures twist and call out across a void of pink, violet, and electric magenta. Their bodies are built from ribboned, almost combed strokes that feel both seductive and dangerous, as if the paint itself is singing. A sudden yellow flare cuts through one figure like a warning light, while indigo and lavender tendrils stretch outward like distant voices pulling the viewer closer. Kevin treats the sirens not as mythological characters but as a force, an atmosphere of allure and disorientation rendered in raw, almost vibrating mark-making, where beauty and threat occupy the exact same gesture.
